I've spent the past year at an early-stage startup owning an entire product from the ground up—the kind of experience that forces you to grow fast. The biggest win? Migrating the whole website from Webflow to Next.Js solo, it was just me rebuilding everything to give us the scalability and performance we needed.
As the only developer on this product, I went beyond just engineering. I integrated critical APIs (WordPress, Mailgun, Mixpanel, HubSpot), partnered with marketing on SEO and high-converting Google Ads landing pages, deployed AI chatbots for customer engagement, and managed our HubSpot CRM data flow. The takeaway? Clean code matters, but only if it solves real business problems. I build things that work.
